I’m back from NYC now sitting in my cubicle wishing vacation had lasted longer. I just entered into the HR system the days I took off and behold, I still have 101 hours left! (That’s almost 13 days or 2 weeks, 3 days for those counting in days off).
Lil tired but it’ll be good to get back to work. I’m also moving these next two weeks into a new apartment in Redondo Beach a few blocks north of Rice Things (hmmmmm). Need to get back to working but just thought I’d write a post since my last entry was like 40 days ago (i’v been wandering for the past 40 days).

I found this awesome raspberry licorice last week at Bristol Farms I was going to rave about… I even used my cell to take a picture of the bag before I inhaled its contents and threw it in the garbage. On Saturday, I took some cool pictures of my nephews with the same cell phone (they seemed so very entertained by my hanging Pikachu cell phone dongle). Last week, I got a phone number from a friend I hadn’t talked to in a long time…
But all that is gone now because last night, my phone turned itself off and wouldn’t turn back on again. I went into Sprint today and they gave me a $150 discount towards a new phone WITHOUT having to extend my contract, which was cool… but the phone I bought was still over $100 out of pocket and its camera sucks in comparison to my old phone.
I will miss my Sanyo M1 Phone. Sprint said it was gone and beyond repair. What happened to it, I will never know; but for a mere cell phone, the M1 had the most awesome built in 2 mega-pixel camera. Sigh. All the foods I will never be able to take adequate picture of now… Why? Because most of the phones I saw today did not have 2 mega-pixels.
In the end, i was swayed towards purchasing the LG Rumor because of its full QWERTY keyboard and email capabilities… but the camera… oh the camera… IT SUCKS. To celebrate my unplanned purchase, I ate a can of soup. After blowing $400 in Tahoe 2 weekends ago, this unplanned expense hurt. Poop.
Now beyond the pain in my wallet, I also LOST ALL MY CELL CONTACTS. Some I was able to get back from Kev but a lot are now loss. So if you’re reading this, send your cell info to my email address.
And now, the greatest loss that my M1 caused: the loss of my Pikachu cell phone dongle. My new phone, like many with full QWERTYs, has no cell phone dongle hook! I’m still not giving up. I’m thinking with some fishing twine, I may be able to rig something so I can still keep Pikachu hanging from my cell. You think I kid? I have FOUR of those Pikachu dongles. Why? Because once one gets too scuffed up, i replace it… Now what will I do? WAH! Ok… time to remember.. I am 30 years old… I can deal with this in an adult-like manner… I’ll just swear under my breath at Sanyo and Sprint…

So I was on abc last weekend trying to figure out when new episodes of Pushing Daisies would return when I discovered that they have apparently, very recently, uploaded all the full episodes of Samantha Who. This show is now going to be added to my DVR… or it would be if TimeWarner wasn’t so friggin’ lame. Half the time when you search for a show on the new “upgraded” cable box, it can’t find the show. I hate TimeWarner. When I move, I’m going straight back to satellite… and maybe I’ll even get Satellite internet too… well… I guess that will depend on price but I’m definitely NOT getting TimeWarner for my TV. They don’t have G4 and their DVR sucks ass. Samantha Who returns April 7th.. and Pushing Daisies returns in the Fall. Well, I still got Eli Stone.

This is probably something of insignificance to most people but I changed both of my car’s headlights on my own today… yes. I am proud of myself. I had no idea what I was doing but it works and I saved $15… whoopie…
I also saw 10,000 BC and The Bank Job this weekend. Rent the Bank Job or catch a matinee. Skip 10,000 BC all together unless you want to fall asleep. Slow, drawn-out, and like most movies of its kind, the last 10 minutes are not worth the 90+ minute wait.
On a separate topic, SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL came out today. I will be getting my copy tomorrow at work via amazon.com. If you have the game, send me your in-game friend code and well link up after I get home from work. :D

Well honestly, you either love the point-and-click adventure game genre or you hate it. If you like wacky and pretty sarcastic humor, then you’d probably love the Phoenix Wright series. If you’ve played through the first 3, you owe it to yourself to pick up this game. If you’re curious about this game, you still owe it to yourself to play through the first 3 games before trying this jewel (because honestly, it’s so much better than the first 3 that they wouldn’t be as much fun if you played this one first). The picture to the right is what Phoenix now looks like in this fourth game of the series. I really like hie new ‘bum’ look now that he’s no longer an attorney–a slob like the rest of us! (Geeze, I wish I looked that good with a beanie… that’s weird for me to admit considering he’s just a drawing too).
Last night I just intended to play maybe for like 15 minutes or so but after an hour and half (or maybe it was two), I had finished the first case. It was fun and really, I kind of broke a rule I had tried to set up for myself and that’s not to start a new game until I’ve completed the previous game I’ve been playing. In addition to Apollo, I also have Hotel Dusk, Advanced Wars DOR, and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings to finish. Oh well…
I was tired today considering I didn’t sleep until 2 AM or so but then again, I actually play a little DS before bed every night as it usually helps put me to sleep. I guess my mistake last night was playing Apollo instead of Puzzle Quest which does get pretty repetitive and boring pretty quickly. Tonight I’ll need to resist playing Apollo but I’m actually about an hour into the second case so I doubt I’ll be able to put the game down unless I get stuck.
