So I turned thirty-onederful years old last week and I got a Best Buy coupon good all of September for 12% off a single item… So this weekend, I’m in the store looking around and I start contemplating… what to buy… if anything…

• HDTV? - No, I’ll buy one through Bruce if and when I want one…
• PS3 - Can’t cause the coupon won’t work…
• 360 - Can’t cause the coupon won’t work…
• 32 Gig iPod touch - Can’t cause the coupon won’t work…
• Oh! they do have a Bravia TV on sale! - Can’t cause the coupon won’t work…
• new Digital Camera - Can’t cause the coupon won’t work on sale items, the sale price is less than the coupon anyway, but I can get the cam for less on eBay…
• DVDs - WHAT A WASTE to save 12% on a DVD when DVDs already cost like 12% less everywhere else anyway (ok, that’s a slight exaggeration)
  

It’s probably just me but it feels like a waste to save 12% on anythign less than a few hundred $$$ because, well, its just like a $5 or $10 coupon which you can get through other means… So in short, I hate you Best Buy… You send me this stupid coupon that won’t work on anything I actually want… you’ve ruined my birthday… Best Buy, YOU SUCK… but I’ll still probably go back the next time I get a coupon; you know, just to rant all over again…

the fun continues today as well.. woohoo… i’ve been busy lately so I apologize for th elack of updates, but I can pretty much sum up life in a few bullets:

1. been hanging out in OC more
2. playing cards on the weekends regularly
3. been working a lot still
4. am now on facebook after much chiding from a certain co-worker I will not mention…

short rant today…

I bought some bananas from Trader Joes last Saturday and they were cheap and “organic.” Within 3 days, those bananas were starting to smell quite fragrant and then last night… little fruit fly gnat-tihngies everywhere. I’m going to kill them all when i get home and vacuum the hell out of the place. never ever buy bananas from TJ’s again…

side note: I got WiiFit yesterday and apparently i have the body of a 40 year old and my balance is horribly misaligned towards my back left foot. Guess I gotta work on a lotta things…

So it’s been far too long since my last post. what have I done since my last post? Well, let me think… I MOVED to Redondo Beach. I am now living all by my lonesome again… and this time, none of my single friends will trick me into moving in with them again just to get engaged and then married. Moving is a pain and the next time I move, it’ll be into a condo, a house, or a coffin (don’t quote me on that though).

So when is the house warming? WTF? Who needs a house warming party? If ou wanna see th enew pad, just give me a call and come one over sometime. If you never see it, then how often do we hang out or chat? If never, then why do you deserve to see my new pad? It’s swinging I say!

Actually, its not. It’s pretty small and humble and I don’t (yet) have cable but I’m thinking I can hold off until the fall since there’s no more new shows though the summer. Plus, with hulu.com and abc.com, I’m pretty much covered for now. Getting cable (or satellite) is totaly a waste of money unless I get a better, bigger TV anyway… so with that in mind, my next goal is to buy a 40+ Sony Bravia… eventually… when I have money or cash flow… I already have the 0% Citibank card so I just need to decide on when to pull the trigger. Looking ahead, I was actually debating on a July 4th look around but since I’ll most likely buy my TV through Bruce, there’s not much point in waiting for a sale.

And now I’m off to the laundromat…
