life takes Visa… and all my money…
I found this awesome raspberry licorice last week at Bristol Farms I was going to rave about… I even used my cell to take a picture of the bag before I inhaled its contents and threw it in the garbage. On Saturday, I took some cool pictures of my nephews with the same cell phone (they seemed so very entertained by my hanging Pikachu cell phone dongle). Last week, I got a phone number from a friend I hadn’t talked to in a long time…
But all that is gone now because last night, my phone turned itself off and wouldn’t turn back on again. I went into Sprint today and they gave me a $150 discount towards a new phone WITHOUT having to extend my contract, which was cool… but the phone I bought was still over $100 out of pocket and its camera sucks in comparison to my old phone.
I will miss my Sanyo M1 Phone. Sprint said it was gone and beyond repair. What happened to it, I will never know; but for a mere cell phone, the M1 had the most awesome built in 2 mega-pixel camera. Sigh. All the foods I will never be able to take adequate picture of now… Why? Because most of the phones I saw today did not have 2 mega-pixels.
In the end, i was swayed towards purchasing the LG Rumor because of its full QWERTY keyboard and email capabilities… but the camera… oh the camera… IT SUCKS. To celebrate my unplanned purchase, I ate a can of soup. After blowing $400 in Tahoe 2 weekends ago, this unplanned expense hurt. Poop.
Now beyond the pain in my wallet, I also LOST ALL MY CELL CONTACTS. Some I was able to get back from Kev but a lot are now loss. So if you’re reading this, send your cell info to my email address.
And now, the greatest loss that my M1 caused: the loss of my Pikachu cell phone dongle. My new phone, like many with full QWERTYs, has no cell phone dongle hook! I’m still not giving up. I’m thinking with some fishing twine, I may be able to rig something so I can still keep Pikachu hanging from my cell. You think I kid? I have FOUR of those Pikachu dongles. Why? Because once one gets too scuffed up, i replace it… Now what will I do? WAH! Ok… time to remember.. I am 30 years old… I can deal with this in an adult-like manner… I’ll just swear under my breath at Sanyo and Sprint…
