Well honestly, you either love the point-and-click adventure game genre or you hate it. If you like wacky and pretty sarcastic humor, then you’d probably love the Phoenix Wright series. If you’ve played through the first 3, you owe it to yourself to pick up this game. If you’re curious about this game, you still owe it to yourself to play through the first 3 games before trying this jewel (because honestly, it’s so much better than the first 3 that they wouldn’t be as much fun if you played this one first). The picture to the right is what Phoenix now looks like in this fourth game of the series. I really like hie new ‘bum’ look now that he’s no longer an attorney–a slob like the rest of us! (Geeze, I wish I looked that good with a beanie… that’s weird for me to admit considering he’s just a drawing too).
Last night I just intended to play maybe for like 15 minutes or so but after an hour and half (or maybe it was two), I had finished the first case. It was fun and really, I kind of broke a rule I had tried to set up for myself and that’s not to start a new game until I’ve completed the previous game I’ve been playing. In addition to Apollo, I also have Hotel Dusk, Advanced Wars DOR, and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings to finish. Oh well…
I was tired today considering I didn’t sleep until 2 AM or so but then again, I actually play a little DS before bed every night as it usually helps put me to sleep. I guess my mistake last night was playing Apollo instead of Puzzle Quest which does get pretty repetitive and boring pretty quickly. Tonight I’ll need to resist playing Apollo but I’m actually about an hour into the second case so I doubt I’ll be able to put the game down unless I get stuck.

Why would I want to live in Seattle, then I would be able to go the Play! video game concert. You would think that after last years miserable Video Games Live concert I’d have learned my lesson, but this is a tour set by different producers and unlike VGL, I have a feeling that they have permission from Square-Enix to use their footage as its the same producer who worked on the Final Fantasy Dear Friends concert tour.
Anyway, I got nothing else to say tonight. I’m tired but I’m gonna play a little Apollo Justice Ace Attorney before going to bed. :)

It’s not David E. Kelly. It’s not Callista Flockhart. It might as well be Ally McBeal though; well in spirit at least. The show I’m watching?… I just started watching Eli Stone on abc. What’s it about? Well in terms of similarities, both shows are about lawyers and involve hallucinations spurned from a brain aneurysm. The differences are that Eli is not in control of his hallucinations and unlike Ally, his hallucinations have meaning that help guide his decisions (often times with adverse social affects).
Anyway, if you enjoyed Ally back in the day and are kind of sappy, you’ll probably like this show too. I also can’t wait for Pushing Daisies to return… And in regards to my previous post, as of now I am not looking for any more hand me down furniture.. unless it came from Crate and Barrel or Pottery Barn (not made from crates and barrels or in a barn).

So the day has FINALLY come. Friday was my last (official) day with brokerage and come Tuesday, I will begin my forage into the relatively unknown GCS department. I don’t expect my world to change to drastically but I am both excited and a little begrudging some of the new skills that will be required of me to learn–the foremost one being GoogleEarth. In truth, it probably just looks a lot more complicated than it really is. I mean if a general administrative assistant who doesn’t understand the most basic HTML can learn how to use and edit KML/KMZ files, I’m sure I’ll have no problems creating fly overs and such. I guess since I neither had a full licensed version nor did I have the time to learn the software, I never really gave it a fair go. Like I said, excitement and trepidation…
In other ramblings, I am officially now in the market for a PS3. Not sure when I’ll drop my plastic for one but now that the HD DVD war is pretty much over, I guess it makes my decision of PS3 vs 360 a bit easier. In all honesty, I see them porting a lot of 360 titles over the PS3 eventually anyway so really, uh… no loss there. :)
So as my eventual, unknown move out of Kevin’s condo approaches, I have to add the PS3 to my list of things to get for my new pad… which also includes a new TV, furniture and a CuisineArt.
Also, I will be visiting Dallas on the 10th and 11th. My supervisor told me that we’d fly in Monday morning and out Tuesday afternoon so I’ll only be spending one night there and that’s it. Given that schedule, i doubt I will have time to go out to dinner with any Texan locals as with only one night in town and meeting my new team members, they will  ost likely have dinner planned out as well for team bonding. :(Â
