So I’m discovering different skins and I’ve just become lazy now. Since I didn’t write this code, I’m a bit confused when I look through it to find items I want to edit. On top of that, this nifty theme I downloaded has pretty much everything the way I like it (I’ve lost all individuality now) so I think I’ll just skip the whole editing thing and just try to figure out how to change the header image and title color (I’m not a fan o fth elime green). I’m fairly sure most of these items are editable in the CSS but I’m so tired and too lazy to look for it at the moment. On the plus side, I do like how this theme adds an automatic box around images… but I also hate that because now I don’t want to use emoticons. For example, if I put a smiley here :), it adds a damn box around it. I guess nothing’s perfect.

Right Now I’m just waiting to go home. I hope Josh gets off work soon.

Been wondering what I’m currently up to? Well, here’s the quick and dirty…

Physiologically
I’m your average short Asian guy (just shy 5′6″). I’m currently sporting short spiky hair that’s usually got a brown or mahogany tint to it. I go to the gym regularly but regretfully sport a lil gut that won’t ever go away. It’s ok though, it helps to hold soda cans while sitting on the couch.

Psychologically
I’ve got my head screwed on straight though I don’t have much patience for those who seek to waste my time and energy. My nickname is flakeboy, but I’m no flake. I like to think I’m pretty loyal, alert, and cognizant. If I’m confused, its usually because I have no idea what I’m doing in this life and I’m not embarrassed to say when I haven’t a clue. Of course not having a clue isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Life will work itself out fine and enduring the pains and pleasures are what makes life worth living.

Career
I have been employed at the colossal CB Richard Ellis, Inc. since March 2004. I am a graphic designer working on marketing materials, sales pitch materials and presentations, building branding, listing flyers, offering packages, webpages, etc. I am also in charge of some basic office administration roles including the inventory/upkeep of marketing supplies/equipment for our floor. I work in our Downtown Los Angeles office as part of the core marketing team and have on occasion gone out to our other six Southern California offices (Torrance, Sherman Oaks, Glendale, Ontario, Century City, and City of Commerce).

Living Arrangements
I’m currently living in a 3/4 bedroom house in North Torrance with Joe, his co-worker, and a trouble-making golden Labrador.

Dating Status
I am still single and will probably stay that way forever unless something miraculous happens (an absolutely flawless person comes into my life). UCLA wasn’t a complete waste of time–I learned that singleness is definitely the way to go.

Future
I don’t know where life is leading me, and I try not to worry to much. There is little point in worrying over what I don’t know and can’t predict.

I’ve managed to destroy everything I once had online now! Haha. j’s mind is a garbled mess, flakeboy.com has gone thru 4 revisions even though none have been made public, and I’ve even started a new bolnl layout in a 2nd revisions which I have yet to reveal. I’m making it a bad habit these days of half-assing my design stuff and not finishing because I get tired or occupied with other things. Once thing I want to do when I do finally get this blog up and running again is to include at least 1 picture which each post. Since I have a built in iSite, i should be able to take a self pic with every entry to chronicle my ungraceful aging and o show where I was when I posted, what i was wearing, etc… only I’m not going to add one this post because I’m too lazy to edit the picture I took in Photoshop to resize and color correct it for my blog… so… starting with m next entry!… Whenever that will be…

BTW - I imagine there must be a spell checker built in or a spell checker plug-in I can download, but until I get one, you’all is gonna have ta just deal with my horrible typing.

Yay… I finally installed WordPress. My old journal is still in the DB but I’ll need to rewrite my scripts to acces them as an archive. From here on out, I’ll be using this free php shareware because, well, I suck at writing scripts and this is just easier for me to maintain. ^_^
